I just finished doing a quick post on French writer, existentialist philosopher, political activist, and feminist Simone de Beauvoir (January 9, 1908 - April 14, 1986) on the anniversary of her birth on both my HistorySisco Tumblr page: Simone de Beauvoir and my @historysisco IG page: Simone de Beauvoir .
